My father and grandfather are involved in the jewellery industry and I am the third generation working in the field. I was born into a jewellery family and I started my individual work in my home village Dosanjh Kalan, in Punjab India. Since childhood I have been attracted to beautiful jewellery, and I have always explored new designs and new markets. We always try to keep and update our knowledge. We are successful because we never compromise on quality. When I came to Canada to start my business here, our mission was the same - quality is paramount.
Jewellery is my passion, followed closely by customer service. I always try to fulfill customers' needs ,and I don't try to sell jewellery to customers. Rather, I try to understand what they want so I can produce that for them. I consider jewellery to be a luxury rather than a necessity, and I treat it as such. I believe that my customers have dreams of the ideal type of jewellery, and if I am successful in making that dream true, this gives me a lot happiness.
I was born in India and I came to Canada at the age of 7. I am the fourth generation of my family in the jewellery industry. I learned a lot from my grandfather, and my father taught me the essential rules of jewellery designing. After graduating with my MBA, I began working full time in the jewellery industry. After getting married, my husband and I started our own business under the name Mahindra Jewellers. Our primary goal is to help customers rather than sell to them. While upholding honest business practices, we created the empire that we have today. Our business gives us so much happiness and are grateful to our customers for making Mahindra Jewellers such a huge success.
